FORTinFEST 2019 returns by putting Amazonia & Brazil at the center to get to know and exchange with the Brazilian Community of Venice in a two-day event promoted by the Association In Diversity, Association Amazonas, association Freve da Samba, Capoeira Topazio Group, Arte Salgados, Redfishblues label, Casa della Cultura Latino, Americana, Faro Venezia, Lido d’Amare, Italia Nostra Venezia, Coop Alleanza 3.0, Fair Trade Italia, Survival International. The invitation is open to all, the workshops are on registration by writing to lab@fortinfest.org. We will discover flavors, music, dances and major important issues such as the defense of ancestral lands by the indigenous peoples of Amazonia and the food sovereignty of the peasants sem terra.

18.00 – Eating Diversity: The defense of the ancestral lands of the Amazonia by indigenous groups we discuss with Cristina Gouvea, ambassador for peace in Brazil and the Amazonas association. The solidal importation of Amazonia products and Food sovereignty we discuss with Fair Trade Italia and Adriatica
